Interwoven: Summer Splash Celebration

Special Operations Forces families are invited to join The Station Foundation as we celebrate the end of the school year and welcome the joys of summer together. Spend the day surrounded by the beauty of the Norfolk Botanical Garden as we enjoy blooming flowers, observe the gentle flutter of butterflies, and relax beneath the shade of the garden’s beautiful trees.
Stepping away from technology and spending time outdoors provides a refreshing reset for both adults and children, supporting emotional wellness, reducing stress, and encouraging meaningful connection. During this engaging event, families will also have the opportunity to play, explore, and cool off in the splash fountains at the WOW Children’s Garden.
Outdoor play is an important part of a child’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Encouraging children to appreciate nature through outdoor experiences creates lasting memories and valuable life lessons. Spending intentional time together outside as a family is a simple yet meaningful way to strengthen relationships, build deeper connections, and practice gratitude.

10:20 AM- 12:00 PM: Splash Fountains and WOW Children’s Garden

Event Details:

Admission to the Norfolk Botanical Garden is provided by The Station Foundation.
Children of all ages are welcome.
Water, snacks, and popsicles will be provided.
Bathing suits under clothing are recommended.
Anticipate playing in full sun with limited shade. Flip flops, towels, sun hats, sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended.

Please register for ONE ticket per family. All required fields on the order form must be completed in its entirety. Incomplete order forms will be cancelled. Thank you for your understanding and helping us ensure event security and the highest quality experience possible.
