Interwoven: SOF Parent and Teen (13+) Baking Workshop
Nothing feeds the hunger for connection in a more powerful and practical way than the shared act of cooking and eating together.
Cooking together communicates to children in a way words cannot. Sharing the kitchen allows parents/caregivers to express to children what they need to hear in order to have strong, healthy relationships. Food is a language anyone can understand, and cooking together with children gives parents/caregivers a voice through which they can communicate safety, love, and encouragement.
Families nowadays spend most of their free time looking at screens. It’s important for families to swap their screen time for quality time together. Gathering around for a homemade meal is what helps us reconnect and be a part of our loved ones’ lives, no matter how hectic their schedules may be.
Special Operation Forces Spouses and teens (ages 13 and up) are invited to join The Station Foundation for a baking workshop at Untamed Chef. Participants will slow down, engage in meaningful conversation, and work together as a team to bake delicious treats.

Event Details:
To optimize quality time and connection, parents are asked to bring one teen. Child must be 13 years old or older to attend.
Closed toe shoes are required.
Please be advised, Untamed Chef is not a gluten free kitchen.
All abilities are welcome; no experience is necessary.

Please reserve ONE ticket for your family. This is a first come first serve event with a maximum capacity of 7 families.
