About this Event
Interwoven: Service & Strength - Building Community Through Shared Purpose
Community Outreach Initiative with Care and Share Food Bank
Special Operations Forces Spouses are invited to join The Station Foundation for a meaningful morning of civic engagement and shared impact within our local community.
We may not wear the uniform, but we live the mission every day. As SOF families, we understand sacrifice. We understand long nights, last-minute changes, and carrying responsibility with quiet strength. But even in the midst of our own demands, we have something powerful to offer: our time, our hands, and our commitment to serve.
Interwoven: Service & Strength is an opportunity to step forward together and give back to the community that supports our families. During this volunteer shift, we will participate in a Sorting & Packing Program, organizing and preparing food for distribution to families across 29 counties in Southern Colorado. Millions of pounds of food are distributed each year, and our collective effort will directly place meals on tables throughout our region.
Service shifts perspective. It reminds us that even in seasons of uncertainty, we can be a source of stability for someone else. It transforms isolation into connection and strengthens the bonds within our own community as we serve side by side. When SOF spouses gather with intention, we do more than volunteer; we lead. We model resilience. We extend hope beyond our own circles. This is our opportunity to stand rooted where we are planted and make a tangible difference together.
