Interwoven: Dad and Me La Jolla Kayak Sunset Cave Tour

Step away from your screens and experience time in nature while kayaking in La Jolla Shores. More than a physical activity, this time spent with us emphasizes the important role stillness, nature, and creativity play in optimizing your brain’s performance.

Nature has a profound impact on your health and is a wonderful environment to decrease stress and everyday worries. While paddling through the quiet, still waters you tap into tranquility, restore energy, and deepen your appreciation of beauty.

To encourage one on one connection and quality time, Dads are asked to bring one child. The child must be 9 years of age or older.

4:45- 5:00 PM: Check in
5:00- 5:15 PM: Mindfulness Practice and Connection
5:15- 7:00 PM: Kayak Tour of La Jolla Caves

To encourage one on one connection and quality time, Dads are asked to bring one child. The child must be 9 years of age or older.

Event Details:

Come dressed in light layers and anticipate getting wet. We will be outdoors in full sun for the duration of this program so please prepare accordingly (recommended- bathing suit with athletic or waterproof shorts, tank top or short sleeve shirt, flip flops or waterproof shoes, sun hat/ ball cap, sunglasses, sunscreen).

All equipment including a life vest will be provided.

No experience is necessary.

When registering for an event, all required fields on the order form must be completed in its entirety. Incomplete order forms will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding and helping us ensure event security and the highest quality experience possible.

This is a first come first serve event with a maximum capacity of 20 participants per session. This is 10 Dad/kid pairs.
