About this Event

The Station Foundation invites Special Operations Couples for an evening of breathing and contrast therapy at Soul Plunge in La Jolla, California.

Sharing a new experience together is a great way to practice trust and connect with your partner. Exploring contrast therapy together is an opportunity to bond and share a very beneficial self care practice that requires mental fortitude, positive self talk, and perspective taking.

This is a wonderful and unique way for couples to bond together and work through the warmth and heat of the sauna and encourage one another through the transition into the cold plunge. Participants can focus on their breath together, keep eye contact and encourage one another to sit in the challenge of the cold water. What a fun reward to tackle the physiological contrast of temperatures together and embrace the mental challenge as a couple.

This program provides couples with a guided breathwork session followed by a cold and hot plunge.

6:45 PM- 7:00 PM: Arrival and Check In

7:00 PM- 8:00 PM: Breathe Class

8:00 PM- 9:00 PM: Cold Plunge and Sauna

Event Details:

All abilities welcome; no experience necessary.
Come in something comfortable to move in and a swimsuit.
Bring a yoga mat if you have one, a water, towel, and dry clothes to change into after.

Please invite a friend within the Special Operations Community who is new to The Station. Station alumni, invite a friend to join the fun and learn mindful practices to improve self care.

This is a first come first serve event with a maximum capacity of 12 attendees (6 couples). We kindly request a cancellation notice no less than 72 hours prior to the event. Thank you for your consideration.
