Special Operation Forces Spouses are invited to join The Station Foundation for an afternoon of meaningful connection through art.
Participants will create a single canvas painting that reflects their inner landscape. The focus is not on perfection, but on presence, self compassion, and authentic expression.
This workshop offers a supportive, welcoming space for SOF spouses to slow down, reconnect, and be seen by others and by themselves. Together, we’ll explore the concept of Anam Cara through gentle reflection and creative expression.
Rooted in Gaelic tradition, anam cara means “soul friend”, someone with whom you can share your truest self and feel a deep sense of belonging. This workshop invites you to begin cultivating that relationship within yourself and the community.
SOF spouses often carry unique, unseen challenges. This experience is designed to provide a moment of pause, a space to process, connect, and extend the same care inward that is so often given to others.

What to Expect:
- A guided reflection on connection and self-compassion
- A simple, intuitive painting experience
- A supportive, judgment free environment
- No prior art experience is needed.
- All materials will be provided.
