About this Event
Join us for a lunchtime talk with Anahita Parsa and tour of the exhibition A Say in the End of the World: Solidarty and Nuclear Defence in the Cold War.
The talk will contextualise the exhibition's focus in the international space, to explore the importance of intersectional approaches to peace and security, and its implications for peacebuilding efforts. Diving into the disarmament movement in the decolonial context, this talk will also reflect on the role of the global nuclear order in shaping international progress towards nuclear disarmament. Anahita will also discuss the different ways to pursue a career in the field, and talk about her own professional experience and work in both activism and policy making within the disarmament movement.~
