The fifth edition invites all womxn to share their position and perspectives on the theme "Womxn Performing Selves" in artistic work. With the aim of diverse representation of womxn, this year we will expand the festival framework to include performing arts in public space.The International Womxns Theatre Festival is part of the Magdalena Project, a dynamic intercultural network for womxn interested in theatre. The focus is on engagement in the performing arts, with exchange of experiences in practice, theatre and dance workshops and oh scientific research, as well as free space for discussions and reflections on gender justice. The festival is a platform of feminist arts for all.

The festival can be visited from 16-19th of September, but to make it available for womxn and men all over the world, a selection of performances will be livestreamed and visible on the iftf-frankfurt.com website, vimeo and facebook page.

The festival offers a platform for (political) theater, dance, performance in public space, workshops, symposium, video art in the Pandora's box program, and live music and DJanes.

The festival can be visited for free and works donation wise.
