World Drummers' Day 2026 - Join us!UPDATE: EVENT at the Kulturfabrik Krefeld (KuFa) in Krefeld (Germany) starting at 6:00 PM

World Drummers' Day is a non-commercial project. We want to honor all drummers around the world and put them in the spotlight every year on April 4th. The literally relevant date, 04.04., was chosen because of the most frequently played 4/4 time signature.
This year, we drum For Humanity – Join us!
Social cohesion, peaceful coexistence, and the dismantling of prejudice must shape our shared understanding of ourselves. The acceptance of diversity and support for the vulnerable are the cornerstones for the continuous development of our society. Our goal is to emphasize commonalities and promote dialogue among us.
Music and drumming have formed a universal language for centuries, transcending barriers. Where words end, rhythm creates connection, unleashes creative energy, and strengthens the sense of community. This heartbeat of music is the driving force, emotion, and energy for all peoples of our earth. We drum for a better coexistence. For greater humanity. For you, for us, for everyone.
Play on the drums, on the drum kit, or even on the table if you like. Snap your fingers, clap your hands, tap – anything goes! We want to make some noise and create a great atmosphere. It doesn't matter how good you are!
Join us and post your photo or video for World Drummers' Day on April 4th on social media. If you can't play the drums, you can also post a picture, a poem, a dance, or something else creative to support our project. We're excited to see your ideas and want to flood the internet with posts and gain global visibility.
