Join us for a riotous night of bands and poetry to raise funds to run this year's International Women's Day March in Edinburgh, with acts covering a multitude of genres, so something for everyone! Moshing and stage invading actively encouraged!
SHEILA AT THE POUNDSHOP - Just a bunch of penny pushing gals who bonded over the rhythmic office soundscapes of poundland HQ - safe to say the photocopier wasn't the only thing jammin' in that place! Expect patriarchy punchin' nonsense at a discount price!
FISTYMUFFS - Aa political punk, Riot Grrrl band from Edinburgh. Their second EP, We Fight, sees the band tackle diet culture, fight gentrification and survive depression before asking you to join them in bringing down the capitalist society we find ourselves in. Expect relatable lyrics, solidarity, and a lot of dancing!
CICI CHEN - an Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter originally from Shenzhen, China, telling passionate yet often melancholic autobiographical stories in indie folk/pop style. But for this time, expect an exclusively curated powerful set of originals and covers full of feminist rage and introspection.
AZRA - Poetry from the soul to warm the cockles of your chilled February heart!
