The Lonely Soldier Monologues, together with poetess Pernille Tolou lsedora Johansson, will guide us through an unforgettable evening, celebrating the power of women in bridging divides, raising awareness, and fostering compassion.

Pernille Tolou lsedora Johansson will perform a series of poems reflecting themes of empowerment, gender equality, and women’s experiences.
5:00 PM – 6:30 PM | The Lonely Soldier Monologues
A performance based on The Lonely Soldier: The Private War of Women Serving in Iraq
7 different actors portraying the powerful stories of women who served in Iraq.
The monologues will give insight into the personal experiences and struggles of female soldiers in war.
6:30 PM – 6:50 PM | Open Discussion with the Actors
Brief open discussion with the actors about the monologues and the themes they explored.
Audience members can ask questions or share thoughts.
6:50 PM – 7:05 PM | Poetry Performance 2
A second round of poetry, reflecting the power of women's voices in different contexts.
7:05 PM – 7:50 PM | Networking & Refreshments
Light refreshments will be provided.
Opportunity for informal conversation and networking with fellow attendees.
