International Women's Sports Day at Perry Park Recreation Centre

We are pleased to be celebrating International Women's Day by providing free casual sports sessions on Sunday 9th March from 10am to 3pm. We encourage everyone to come down to attend. Bring your family, friends, and children!

We'll be running a range of sports sessions including basketball, netball, roller skating, and volleyball. These sessions will be open to all abilities- specific sessions times can be seen below.

Our netball and basketball sessions will include high profile female athletes. Come down and say hello, get a picture, and play some games!

Food will also be provided for all active participants, with a lunch break from 12pm to 12:30pm.

We will also be having women's football games held on our outdoor pitch which everyone is welcome to watch.

Please register your interest with a ticket on this page so we can track attendance. All equipment will be provided, however, roller skates may be limited so please bring your own where possible.

If your sports session is 'sold out' this means we are expecting to reach the maximum number of participants for this session. No spots have been reserved and our centre is still open to everyone. We will endeavour to include as many people as possible who attend on the day.

Although the City of Sydney Council will endeavour to provide a safe environment, there are inherent risks or danger which cannot be eliminated. By participating, you release and hold harmless the City of Sydney Council from and against any injury, loss, cost, expense, demand or liability (to the extent not caused or contributed to by the negligent act or omission of the City of Sydney Council), directly or indirectly arising out of or in any way connected with the participation in this event.
