Tribe Talks are free talks open to both Tribe Members and the general public. The goal of Tribe Talks is to bring together bright minds, and interesting topics, that can help foster inspiration, provoke conversations that matter, and help to educate our community to do better, and be better. The theme for our second quarter is Women’s Health.
Join us on March 6th with Ellie Hutchinson for a creative International Women's Day Workshop.
In this interactive session, we'll create postcards to ourselves on how we can recentre our work around our values. What is important to us? What gets in the way? Expect creative reflection, cutting and sticking. No prior experience needed in collaging , and no need to share your work!
This is a judgement free zone <3 - embrace the DIY aspect in all its messiness!
Feel free to bring a poem, picture or photocopies that speak to you about what’s important to you to cut and paste.
This is a relaxed atmosphere workshop, feel free to bring a friend, BYOD and get creative!
Whilst Tribe Talks are free to attend, our IWD event will have a suggested fee of £5. We will have delicous cakes and refreshments avaliable for purchase, all proceeds will go to Edinburgh Women’s Aid.
About Ellie.
Ellie is a creative practitioner, researcher and facilitator. She is the co-founder of the collective and the founder of the dots. She works on issues relating to social justice and wellbeing and lives in Edinburgh with her husband, two primary school age children and her cat. She likes dance routines and holidays.
