About this Event
The Women and the Law Section of the State Bar of Texas is pleased to announce its 4th annual International Women’s Day Celebration on March 5th. Our mission is (a) to encourage and facilitate the active and effective participation of women – both in the legal profession and in the community and (b) to address women’s current needs and the issues affecting them.
Women attorneys from across the state of Texas will be celebrating and Tyler is excited to join in the party!
We will gather at the corner of Broadway and Houston, for the unveiling of Tyler's newest beauty and the box installation, celebrating the Honorable Judith K. Guthrie (remarks and group photo at 5:30 pm). Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres reception with free CLE to follow inside Sinclair Law Office.
You do not need to be a member of Women and the Law Section, Smith County Bar Association or the Women's Section of the Smith County Bar Association to attend this event - all are welcome!
This event is free of charge thanks to our generous sponsors - please join us for free CLE, libations, music, heavy hors d'oeuvres and fun! A group picture for the SBOT Women and the Law newsletter will be taken at 5:30 at the corner of Broadway and Houston - please wear purple or white.
