International Women's Day Beach Plunge

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Athleta and Ocean Beach Plunge Club invites women to join as we Wake the Water, a moment of collective recognition and renewal. The morning will include:

• A guided shoreline walk along the Great Highway.

• A cold plunge led by Ocean Beach Plunge Club.

• A complimentary beachside gathering featuring local, women-founded businesses including Laundromat Bagels, Devil’s Teeth, Andytown Coffee Roasters, and more.

• Commemorative tote bags filled with Athleta gear and gifts.

For each woman who takes the plunge, Athleta will contribute $250 to Girls on the Run Bay Area.* This means every plunge drives tangible impact, supporting Athleta’s commitment to empowering the next generation by creating access to sport.

Further Details & Information

• Please arrive by 7:30am. The Great Highway Walk will start promptly at 8:00am.

• Parking is limited. We highly encourage guests to utilize rideshare options or public transportation.

• Please bring the following items: Sneakers/comfortable walking shoes; a small crossbody bag for personal items; a bathing suit under your sweats; sandals for post walk and plunge; a refillable water bottle.

• Towels and sweatshirts will be provided by Athleta.
• Please note: one RSVP per person.
