EVENT | To commemorate International Women’s Day 2026, the Constabulary’s Motorcycle Team is co-hosting a free multi-agency bike event for women riders.Event organiser PC Jen Whelan is currently the Constabulary's only female member of the force's Motorcycle Unit and is hosting the event alongside partners including Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, National Highways, BikeSafe and BMW, for female bike riders of all abilities.
📍 Between 11am and 3pm on Sunday, 8 March, women with an interest in anything on two wheels can come down to Chester Motorrad Service on Knutsford Way, Chester, to meet like-minded riders, officers from the Motorcycle Unit and BikeSafe, and specialist bike technicians from BMW.
Throughout the day, there will be inputs from officers regarding safer riding and what a day within the motorcycle Unit typically looks like, and partners from BMW will also be on hand to provide tips and tricks about how to get the very best out of your own bike.
Attendees can also look to book a ride out session alongside Motorcycle officers and our colleagues from BikeSafe.
