About this Event

Celebrate International Women’s Day with creativity, connection, and self-care. This special free workshop invites women to come together in a warm and supportive space to honour themselves and one another through craft, conversation, and community.

Together, we will create beautiful flower arrangements and handmade jewellery pieces—symbols of strength, growth, and individuality. Alongside creative activities, we will explore meaningful self-care practices and supportive circle conversations designed to strengthen emotional wellbeing and connection.

No experience is needed—just bring yourself. The session is relaxed, welcoming, and child-friendly.

What to expect:

• Jewellery Making: Craft simple, meaningful accessories that celebrate your personal story and creativity.

• Self-Care Practices & Techniques:– Gentle grounding exercises to calm the nervous system– Simple breathing techniques for stress and anxiety relief– 5-minute daily reset practices for busy mums and working women

Guided reflection on setting healthy boundaries– Practical strategies for preventing burnout– Identifying early signs of emotional overload and how to respond kindly to yourself– Creating a small, realistic personal self-care plan you can use at home

• Women’s Circle Conversations:– A facilitated sharing circle in a safe, confidential space– Reflecting on personal strengths and life experiences– Honouring women who inspire us– Discussing challenges such as balancing work, family, and identity– Practising active listening and mutual encouragement– Celebrating cultural heritage and shared stories across communities• Community Connection:– Building supportive friendships with women from diverse backgrounds– Learning about local groups, volunteering, and wellbeing opportunities– Encouraging peer support beyond the workshop– Creating a sense of belonging and solidarity– (Optional exchange of contact details for continued connection)
