🌹 International Women’s Day: Women’s Only Somatic Workshop + Ecstatic Dance 🌹Sunday, March 8th | 11:00am–2:00pm

This International Women’s Day, Alex Urbano (owner of Vertika Pole Studio) and I are coming together to co-create a powerful women’s-only embodiment experience — not just to talk about empowerment, but to embody it.
This event operates on a sliding scale ($30–40), and in the spirit of supporting women beyond our circle, all proceeds over $30 per ticket will be donated to the Welcome Centre Shelter, supporting women and families in our local community.
When women gather with intention in a women only container, something powerful happens.
There's a deeper softness.
A deeper safety.
A deeper exhale.
And from that safety… comes activation.
Boundaries become clearer.
Desires feel safer to acknowledge.
Joy rises to the surface.
The “good girl” conditioning loosens its grip.
🔥 This is not about performance. It’s about permission.
Permission to feel.
Permission to move.
Permission to take up space.
✨ What to Expect
This experience will be part guided workshop, part ecstatic dance journey.
We’ll begin with an opening circle to land, connect, and set the tone for the space together.
The somatic workshop will be led by Alex Urbano, a somatic & embodiment dance facilitator who creates grounded, body-led experiences that help women reconnect to their truth, their boundaries, and their embodied YES.
From there, I’ll guide the ecstatic dance journey — a free-flow movement experience where you integrate, explore, release, celebrate, and move in whatever way feels authentic to you.
There is no choreography, no expectation, no right or wrong way to move. You let the music guide you. You let your body speak.
It can feel therapeutic and cathartic.
It can feel expansive.
It can feel playful and freeing.
And yes — it’s also really fun! 😘
General Flow:
• Arrive between 10:45–11:00am
• Opening Circle: 11:00–11:30am (starts promptly at 11)
• Somatic Workshop with Alex: 11:30–12:15pm
• Ecstatic Dance Journey: 12:30–1:30pm
• Closing Circle + Integration: 1:30–2:00pm
