Welcome to the inaugural International Sound Medicine Wheel Gong Master Training at Schroeder Studios in beautiful San Antonio, Texas, the River City.
Our theme for this 5-day intensive is “Making Sound Medicine with Gongs, Singing Bowls, Conch and Bells.”
Led by Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux and Yaelle Shaphir LAc., with Sound Medicine Wheel creator and guest teacher Gong Master Journeyman Michael Enderle, this training will take you many steps along the path to mastering ancient sound medicine instruments as transformational healing tools.
The curriculum includes Gong Master of Ceremonies and foundational principles and practices based on Gong Master Don Conreaux’s Gong Master Training - Way of The Gong.
The Experience
Each day brings hands-on “playshop” experience with powerful healing instruments: Gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, drums, bells, voice and Shruti Box.
You will learn to play these instruments for relaxation, clearing, cleansing and energizing.
This training emphasizes all 18 areas of Gong Mastership, including solo Gong practice, one-on-one facilitation, group sound baths, vocal resonance work, Singing Bowl mastery, percussion techniques from the Sound Medicine Wheel, Shruti Box exploration, and much more.
A Unique Venue
Train at an extraordinary location: Schroeder Studios, the showroom for Schroeder Sound Technologies.
Our Host George Schroeder brings decades of expertise in metal artistry and aerospace engineering to his craft of Gong making. Participants will enjoy exclusive access to the forge and a complete tour of the fabrication facility, witnessing the entire Gong-making process from raw metal to a finished sound healing instrument. This is a rare opportunity to train where sound engineers and artisan craftsmen come together to create Schroeder Gongs.
Training Details
Dates: February 12-16, 2026.
Schedule: 9 AM to 6 PM, Thursday through Monday
Investment: $1,200 per person.
Early Bird Special: $963 if registered before November 8, 2025

What to Bring:
• Your own instruments (optional): Gongs, stands, mallets, conch, Singing Bowls, flutes, didgeridoos, drums, and any other sound healing instruments. We have plenty to share as well.
• Altar offering: A photo of an ancestor, crystal, photo of your teacher, or someone in need of healing
• Comfort items: Cushions, pillows, mats, blankets, or other items for sitting on the floor or lying in Savasana
Experience Level: This course welcomes everyone from complete beginners through advanced players.
