Across Difference, Old Questions and New Tools: Interculturality, AI, and Shared Futures**
The International Intercultural Congress – Valencia 2026 invites proposals that critically and creatively engage with enduring intercultural questions and the new tools shaping contemporary societies.
In a context marked by global uncertainty, technological acceleration, and social polarisation, the Congress offers a space to revisit core intercultural concerns, such as identity, power, belonging, dialogue, ethics, and responsibility, while examining how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are influencing education, social relations, institutions, and intercultural practice.
We welcome academic, professional, and practice-based proposals that foster dialogue across disciplines, sectors, cultures, and generations. Contributions may be theoretical, empirical, reflective, or experiential, and should prioritise ethical responsibility, inclusion, and human-centred approaches over purely technical or promotional perspectives.
The Congress values diversity of voices, critical reflection, and practical relevance. Valencia 2026 is conceived as a shared space to question, connect, and co-create inclusive and responsible futures across difference.
