September is international FASD awareness month with September 9 being international FASD Day. This is to highlight the importance of going alcohol-free during the 9 months of pregnancy. The first FASD Day was held on September 9, 1999. The Central Alberta FASD Network, along with other FASD Networks across the country and world recognize September as FASD Awareness Month.We are beginning our day at City Hall Park Plaza for the Mayor's proclamation at 9am and heading to Great Chief Park for food, fun, and entertainment at 11am!
