Come and join us to celebrate the International Day of the Midwives (IDM) on the 5th of May 2023 at City University of London.
The theme for this year’s conference is “City Midwives around the world” and we will be having presentations from undergraduate and postgraduate students who have undertaken elective placement in different countries.
The programme includes also two keynote speakers by amazing and inspirational women.
Dr Nighat Arif, who is a GP and the resident doctor on This Morning (ITV) and who does loads of brilliant women's health advocacy, and Dr Kathryn Gutteridge, former president of the Royal College of the Midwives and an amazing midwife who has done loads for marginalised women's groups and promoting midwifery led care.
