About this Event
This edition of the International Clinic, organised in collaboration with DutchCulture/TransArtists and led by Bojana Panevska, is a practical session devoted to exploring residency opportunities abroad. What happens during and after a residency? What benefits do residencies offer? This session will provide practical guidance and useful advice.
The number of residencies for designers, makers and architects around the world is growing. However, understanding the opportunities, expectations and structures that they offer can be overwhelming. This edition of the International Clinic explores the complexities of international residency programmes through a practical session. Organised in collaboration with DutchCulture/TransArtists, it provides practical guidance and critical insights for individuals looking to develop their work internationally. There will also be a discussion with a designer-in-residence, who will share their experiences.
Bojana Panevska, an advisor at DutchCulture/TransArtists, is leading the event. This organisation helps artists and cultural institutions navigate international residency programmes and other forms of cross-border collaboration. Drawing on her extensive experience of international programmes and supporting artists, Bojana will lead this interactive workshop on how to get started, what to look out for, how to prepare and strategies for planning a regenerative and meaningful residency.
A networking drinks reception will follow the session, where you can meet peers, exchange ideas and expand your network.
