$165 for 3-Day workshop (9 hours)
What to Expect:
In this 3-part intermediate workshop, you'll be following a commercial pattern. In and of itself, this is an incredibly valuable skill.
Commercial Pattern Skills you'll Gain:
Following a commercial pattern takes some knowledge and know-how. We'll help you with:
cutting layouts
transferring markings
cutting
understanding visual diagrams
Other Skills:
Curves/Circles
Sewing a 3 dimensional object
flipping/filling
Fabric requirements:
Clothing items to harvest material from (or a collection of Fat Quarters if you want to make a practice bear before using clothing)
*It's best if the material is woven. If using knit material like t-shirts or jerseys, you will also need lightweight fusible interfacing to stabilize the stretchy material as you sew it.
