About this Event
Create your first pair of handmade pyjama pants in this fun intermediate sewing workshop designed for confident beginners ready to level up. You’ll move beyond simple projects and learn the essential skills needed to construct comfortable, well-fitting pants from start to finish.
Over the course of the class, you’ll work with a "one size fits most" commercial pattern, learning how to read and interpret instructions and make simple fit adjustments. ***If you have taken our Pattern Drafting Workshop, feel free to bring in the pattern you created in class to use instead***
You’ll practice key techniques such as cutting fabric accurately, sewing straight and curved seams, creating a drawstring waistband and finishing edges for durability and a polished look.
This workshop emphasizes both skill-building and creativity—you’ll have the chance to select vintage/upcycled fabrics that reflect your personal style while gaining a deeper understanding of garment construction. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a completed pair of pyjama pants and the confidence to tackle more advanced sewing projects at home.
Ideal for those who already know how to use a sewing machine and understand basic stitching, this class is the perfect next step in your sewing journey.
All supplies included.
