🎉 Brand New Class Offering!
This class is designed to take your technical proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro to the next level. Navigating menus and panels – and sorting through effects and modifiers – can be overwhelming. The less time you spend searching the web for answers, the more time you can dedicate to refining and perfecting your edits.
This session is ideal for editors who already have experience in Premiere. You know how to import media and make basic edits on the timeline. You’re familiar with the available tools – but you want to better understand the most efficient and effective ways to use them.
By the end of this class, you’ll have a stronger understanding of how to:
- Apply and adjust basic visual effects
- Edit and mix audio
- Perform color correction and basic color grading
- Add and customize graphics and titles
About the Instructor
Gus Simpson is a full time video editor working in the Nashville area. He graduated from MTSU in 2020 with a B.S. in Video and Film Production. Over the last decade he has worked on music videos, long-form and short-form episodic serials, shorts for video sharing platforms, short films, and feature films. Currently he works at a company as a specialist in communications media for internal communications.
No materials are required. However, bringing your laptop and following along in Premiere Pro is highly encouraged to get the most out of the class. Hope to see you there!
