In this class you will learn the practical aspects of working with high carbon steels, including the handling, shaping, heat treating, and finishing process to create a fully functional toolIn this class you will work with a much larger piece of steel than in our beginners version, so be prepared for a significant amount of hammering and extensive physical work! All participants will be able to keep their new letter opener at the end of the class
Please note that this workshop is not suitable for beginners, participants are required to have completed one of our regular beginners classes or have equivalent blacksmithing experience
Private Group workshops are also available for groups of 4-6 participants, contact us to make arrangements for your own private class!
