About this Event
You’ve got the basics down. Now it’s time to find the nuance.
This intermediate intensive is designed for actors ready to move past “funny voices” and into grounded, dynamic character work for animation. The focus is on precision; how to create voices that are specific, repeatable, and sustainable in a professional setting.
You’ll work on-mic in a focused, booth-style environment, receiving targeted, real-time adjustments to refine both your technical control and creative choices.
This is about understanding not just what you’re doing, but how to do it consistently.
What You’ll Walk Away With
- Stronger, more specific character voices
- A clearer sense of your animation “wheelhouse.”
- Improved on-mic technique and control
- Professionally coached audio clips of your work
Instructor
Kate Roth is a professional voice-over artist and educator. She can currently be heard as Zaida in Netflix’s Valeria and brings a real in-the-booth experience into every session.
