About this Event

Interior trim—like door and window casing or baseboards—is a finishing detail that elevates any room. This hands-on class teaches participants how to measure, cut, and install trim with clean, tight joints for a polished result. You’ll also learn how to “scribe,” or custom-fit trim to uneven surfaces such as floors or walls—an essential skill for working in older homes or irregular spaces.

Whether you're renovating a room or finishing new construction, this workshop equips you with foundational carpentry techniques that make your projects look seamless and professional.

Learning Goals:

Measure and cut interior trim with accuracy

Use a miter saw and finish nailer safely and confidently

Install door/window casing with clean, even reveals

Scribe trim to fit against irregular surfaces

Conceal nail holes and finish trim with a professional look
