Intergenerational Thanksgiving- Actual Thanksgiving Event Day
Date: Tuesday, November 25th
Time: 3:00pm-6:00pm
Volunteer Shifts:
- Volunteer Shift 1: 12:30pm-4:30pm
- Volunteer Shift 2: 2:00pm-6:00pm
- Volunteer Shift 3: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: Anita May Rosenstein Campus - Pride Hall | 1118 N. McCadden Place, Los Angeles, CA 90038
Volunteer Shift 1: 12:30pm-4:30pm
Pre-Event Setup Support: This includes table setup and decorations, setting up pipes & drapes with sandbags, setting up check-in areas, and setting up the buffet area under staff instructions. Once the event starts, volunteers will usher, bartend, and bus tables.
Attire: Volunteers will be asked to wear an all-dark outfit with closed-toed, sensible shoes.
Volunteer Shift 2: 2:00pm-6:00pm
Buffet Service Support: Volunteers will assist with serving food to attendees at the buffet stations, following guidance and instructions provided by our Culinary Arts team.
Attire: Volunteers will be asked to wear an all-dark outfit with closed-toed, sensible shoes.
Volunteer Shift 3: 4:00pm-8:00pm
Additional Support: Volunteers will usher, bartend, and bus tables to provide a seamless experience for our celebrating guests. Towards the end of the event, volunteers will assist with breakdown, including dismantling the senior dining area, the bar, and pipes and drapes, as well as cleaning up the area.
Attire: Volunteers will be asked to wear an all-dark outfit with closed-toed, sensible shoes.
