About this Event
Storytelling Workshop w/Dan Jahn
Do you ever wonder how some people tell stories that completely captivate an audience, whether it’s on a TED stage, pitching to VCs, or simply around the dinner table?
Whether you are a novice or stand in front of a crowd for a living, storytelling is a skill you can sharpen. We’re thrilled to have our own Bivouac regular Dan Jahn leading a special Storytelling Workshop for our community.
Dan Jahn is a dynamic speaker and leadership expert known for his powerful storytelling and ability to captivate audiences. He has authored numerous books on leadership through story-driven teaching. You can learn more about Dan and his expertise on his website or check out his instagram.
Whether you want to move an audience, inspire your kids with stories from your life, or stand out professionally, this class will give you practical tools to tell better stories that connect and leave a lasting impact.
Bring a drafted pitch, a personal story idea, an outline of a speech, or any story you’d like to develop. This workshop is designed to be hands-on and interactive.
You’ll first hear Dan tell a Moth style story, then he’ll break down the key elements that make it engaging and memorable. From there, you’ll have dedicated time to work on your own piece. Dan will circulate to provide feedback and answer questions, and we’ll close by having a voluntary share out.
Join us for this three-hour workshop on Thursday, April 2nd from 4–7 PM at Bivouac’s Tasting Room. Your ticket includes a specialty drink or mocktail from our barista. Snacks will be provided as well.
Because everyone loves a good story and everyone has one worth telling, we hope to see you there!
