Engl below...Mit dem Projekt RAUM:FALTEN möchte das intermediale Duo INTER_SECTION (Sabine Ercklentz & Claudia Schmitz) das alltägliche Verständnis von Raum als abgegrenzter und begrenzender Einheit herausfordern.
Hierzu wird das Duo verschiedene Räume - klangliche und visuelle, alltägliche und artifizielle, analoge und digitale - in einer Performance ineinander falten und mit Verlauf der Performance immer wieder reformatieren.
Hierfür nutzen sie Mehrkanal-Ton und Projektionen. Der konkrete Aufführungsort wird ausgedehnt und überlagert - »Raumfalten« entstehen in denen die Grenzen der Disziplinen verschwimmen und alltäglichen und gedachten Grenzen mit einer poetischen Utopie der Möglichkeiten gekontert wird.

The intermedia duo INTER_SECTION (Sabine Ercklentz & Claudia Schmitz) is challenging the everyday understanding of space with their project RAUM:FALTEN.
They will fold various spaces – sonic and visual, everyday and artificial, analogue and digital – into one another in a performance and reformat them again and again as the performance progresses.
Multi-channel sound and projections are used. The performance space is expanded and superimposed, with 'spatial folds' creating a blurring of the boundaries between disciplines. Everyday and imaginary boundaries are countered with a poetic utopia of possibilities.
