About this Event

Intentional Trust: Exploring Competency & Character

A Leadership & Trust Workshop for First Responders, Leaders, and Community Members

Trust is the foundation of every relationship—but it’s not built in one big moment. It’s built intentionally, through small choices over time. This 2.5-hour interactive workshop is designed for leaders, first responders, and professionals who want to strengthen relationships, rebuild confidence, and lead with greater credibility.

You’ll learn how trust shows up in two essential ways:

  • Competency – the skills, follow-through, and reliability that prove you can do the job.
  • Character – the integrity, humility, and empathy that show who you really are.

What You’ll Learn:

✅ Recognize the difference between trusting someone’s skills versus their integrity
✅ Identify barriers that break trust and strategies to repair it
✅ Practice everyday actions that build intentional trust in both work and life
✅ Explore real-world scenarios that deepen understanding and confidence

What Makes This Different?

This isn’t a lecture about “being trustworthy.” You’ll:
✔ Practice trust-building actions through real-world scenarios
✔ Reflect on moments where trust was broken—and how it was (or wasn’t) repaired
✔ Explore small, everyday choices that create lasting credibility
✔ Walk away with practical tools you can put into action immediately

Who Should Attend?

🚔 First Responders | 🧯 Firefighters | 🎖️ Law Enforcement | 💼 Supervisors & Managers | 🏥 Healthcare Professionals | 🛠️ Trades Leaders | 📊 Community Leaders | Anyone who wants to strengthen relationships at work or at home

🔥 Trust isn’t an accident. It’s built on purpose. When trust is present, teams communicate better, communities feel safer, and leaders have the courage to act with clarity.
