We are excited to announce a unique opportunity arriving in Perth this July 2024. Slava Tütükin, the Manager, and deputy Artistic Director of the Dortmund Ballet and NRW Junior Ballet, will be visiting Perth following his adjudication of the Sydney Eisteddfods at the Opera House. Slava is an Internationally acclaimed teacher and choreographer with experience spanning across several countries. Workshops will be held over three days and will cover Classical Master classes as well as repertoire from the Dortmund Ballet Company for older students. Students are invited to participate from ages 8 - 22.
Participants aged 18 - 22 will have the chance to compete for a scholarship with the Junior Ballet Dortmund, offering the opportunity to train with the company for three weeks during the 2024/25 season, free of charge. This is an ideal springboard for older students and graduates to gain professional experience in a company setting.
Additionally, these participants will also have the opportunity to be selected to perform the learnt choreography from Dortmund Ballet. This will be showcased at the Ballet Gala on 9th-10th August 2024, hosted at His Majesty's Theatre in Perth.
Younger participants will also have the opportunity to perform a short classical ballet work at the Ballet Gala at His Majesty's Theatre choreographed by Tatiana Pevneva.
We encourage all aspiring dancers to take advantage of this invaluable opportunity to learn from industry leaders and showcase their talents on an international stage.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at the workshops!
