Kappy has been a breathworker in the DC/Baltimore area since 2012. She has received additional training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and in supporting clients in the preparation and integration of plant medicine journeys. The combination of these modalities has proven beneficial and supportive for many people.
Integrative Breathwork utilizes conscious breathing to help a person to return to and be with their self-energy (essence/unconditional nature) to help heal anything on physical, emotional, cognitive and/or spiritual level that is keeping them from being here. It is important to note that it is very different than Holotropic Breathwork in its intensity and style. IFS helps to identify and meet parts of oneself and bring self and parts into harmony. Preparation for journeys with this approach often leads to the medicine meeting the self and, together, exploring parts for grounded, integrative experiences.
Kappy will be joined by other breathworkers who will provide support and care throughout the event. More specifics about the event can be found below.
This event will be held at St. Luke's on the Avenue in Hamden and limited to 20 people to assure proper care and management of participants. If you are attending, you will need to bring the following items with you:
Yoga mat or something else soft to lay on
Pillow or meditation cushion to sit on
Water bottle / Snack
Dress comfortably in loose-fitting clothing
Eye shades, if you want them
