About this Event
Sea turtles are some of the most threatened species on Earth. While they are all endangered, there are hopeful signs their numbers are recovering. The National Aquarium invites you to our Animal Care and Rescue Center to celebrate the conservation of these amazing marine reptiles.
During our classroom event, Scouts will learn about the anatomy, diet, migration and life cycle of sea turtles. Scouts will also gain a better understanding of the threats sea turtles are facing and what conservation organizations, like the National Aquarium, are doing to help.
Due to limited parking and seating in the lobby, this will be a drop-off program. All participating Scouts will receive a National Aquarium patch.
