The Schoaharie County ACES Team Presents ICAN Trainers will design, deliver and implement the following interactive training workshop for the

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), including those impacted by sex trafficking. The session will blend a comprehensive understanding of ACEs through a trauma-informed lens with the practical application of Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques. Participants will gain insights into the long-term impact of ACEs on physical and mental health, learn how to create a supportive environment for individuals with a history of trauma, and develop skills to effectively use MI to foster positive behavioral change. Through a combination of theoretical exploration, practical exercises, and interactive discussions, attendees will leave equipped with the tools to support their students or clients more effectively.
