About this Event
This one-day course aims to train those with experience with focused shockwave, or those who have owned a focused shockwave device for a while and are interested in integrating diagnostic ultrasound to deliver more targeted treatments as well as provide visual results to patients.
Alternatively if you have experience with or own an ultrasound device but are curious about adding shockwave therapy to your treatment protocols, this course will also be helpful.
The day is split between theory and practical sessions to ensure practical experience is gained with both the shockwave and ultrasound devices. Our expert instructors will guide you through the latest techniques and best practices in shockwave therapy, and provide hands-on training with state-of-the-art equipment.
Common chronic conditions to be covered include (but not limited to): Achilles tendonitis, patellar tendonitis, great trochanteric pain syndrome, tennis elbow and shoulder calcification along with the latest evidence on shockwave mechanisms and effectiveness
Arrival will be at at 9am and the course will end at approximately 4pm, hosted in either our London or Liverpool training centres. There will be a break around midday for lunch, which will be provided. Any dietary requirements will be requested closer to the date.
