Dear colleague,I am writing to invite applications for a residential breathwork immersion in Belize, designed specifically for a small group of seasoned and mature practitioners of psychotherapy, counselling, and depth psychology.
Learn how to integrate breathwork with psychoanalysis, neuroscience, Reichian body-oriented 'vegetotherapy', Gestalt, object relations, and relational psychotherapy, through theory, practice, and deep experiential process, in a group of like-minded, experienced colleagues and peers.
Breathing at the Intimate Edge
30 May – 7 June 2026 · San Ignacio, Belize · 8 days · 8–14 participants
Although set in a stunning tropical environment, this is not primarily a wellness retreat. It is a serious professional and personal immersion (a CPD event comprising 50 hours of dedicated group work and experiential study), exploring what becomes possible when breathwork is integrated with depth-psychological, embodied, and relational understanding. We will go way beyond breathwork as a set of techniques and instructions, into the fractal nature of bodyminds in relationship, inviting altered and expanded states of consciousness internally and externally.
The immersion takes place at a private farm retreat surrounded by jungle, rivers, and Mayan archaeological sites, conducive conditions for a liminal space and inquiry that cannot be created in a standard workshop format.
Participation is by application only. I review each one personally and respond within 5–7 days. Payment is requested only after acceptance.
Once the group is confirmed, we will hold a Preparation Q&A session via Zoom, included in the workshop fee, to address practical questions, begin to meet each other, and orient toward the work ahead.
