Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) is a developing area of rapid therapeutic change work that explores the area of undesired emotions and our ways of being. The process explores the question, “How did we learn to feel the way that we do?” and opens up the possibility of creating the appropriate change in our emotional lives.This is not EMDR. This is unlike any other eye movement model. This is better.
IEMT has shown significant efficacy in addressing:
Traumatic experience: Facilitating emotional resolution of traumatic experiences.
Problematic emotions: Reducing cognitive and emotional burdens from the past.
Chronic Stress: Promoting resilience by addressing stress-related thought patterns.
Behavioural Challenges: Enhancing emotional regulation and improving self-perception.
For the practitioner, IEMT is about precise calibration to the client. Unlike other treatments involving eye movements, with IEMT, the eye movements are neither random nor simply repetitive left and right movements in the hope that change will occur. The training provides the tools for the practitioner to precisely calibrate which axis to move the eyes, enabling the exploration work to occur with precision and at a remarkable speed.
Certification (optional) is dependent on successful completion of case studies/demonstrations of the IEMT work and full membership of The Association for IEMT Practitioners. Trainees are welcome to join as Associate Members to access the additional training materials. Upon completion of training and assessments, upgrading to full membership is free.

Certification for IEMT Practitioner:
In order to attain certification, you will need to submit x2 case studies and return a short video of you working with someone to us. Once you have passed, you can join The Association for IEMT Practitioners as a full member, and certification is issued. This includes the CPD certification, too.
