Dallas-born and currently based in New York, Sophia Rogers is a folk/rock artist and singer-songwriter who’s music is influenced heavily by themes of childhood nostalgia, intense self-awareness, anticipatory grief, complicated family dynamics, and the world at large. Sophia and their band draw on diverse musical influences song-to-song, dipping into alternative, americana, jazz, freak folk; but throughout, Sophia’s dynamic and acrobatic vocals bring it all together. Above all, their priority is lyricism, in hopes that their vulnerability may connect with fellow sensitive souls.
