Bio:
Conservative Rap aka Patrick is a Long-Island born and bred, traditional poet & MC, currently residing in New York City.Originally trained in the old-school "ciphers" of the late 90's and early 2000's, Patrick's interest in poetry evolved under the tutelage of several underground poets that era and time.Studying from the likes of Wu Tang, Nas, Large Professor, AZ and others, Patrick's work is formed within a classical, literary-esque iambic pentameter structure, aiming to convey deeper concerns of human life, meaning and self-direction whilst living in the dawn of a post-Artificial Intelligence driven civilization.Patrick's debut album, The Calm Before the Storm, is meant to demonstrate his particular brand of poetry, dubbed "Conservative Rap": a call back to the traditional style of rhyme and meter most efficient covering larger themes in an engaging and entertaining manner.
