Bio:
Fazo Bandz is a versatile vocalist and guitarist, raised in Queens, NY. The 27 year old comes from a very musically inclined family, and was exposed to a wide variety of musical styles at a young age. Although he started mainly as a Melodic Rapper, Fazo’s two biggest musical influences are the legendary Prince, and the king of punk funk himself, Rick James. In December of 2024, Fazo decided he wanted to expand as a musician, so he enrolled into NYC Guitar School, and learn how to play the guitar. Fast Forward to 2025 Fazo reconnected with his High School friend Ryan Francis, and asked him to play bass as a member of his backing back, whom Fazo decided to name the Phantom Troupe. Both Fazo and Ryan’s love for 80s funk has allowed them to build a deep bond and understanding for each other musically. Ryan has truly helped Fazo elevate himself as an Artist. The two will be collaborating on Fazo’s upcoming Funk project, heavily inspired by the Minneapolis Sound.
