Concussa is LLuke and Caroline Jamison, a trip pop duo built on smoky trip-hop production and volatile pop hooks, wrapped in snakeskin and spell work. They pull from the spectral soul of Portishead, the grit of Kim Gordon, and the sensuality of Sade, landing somewhere between Shakespearean incantation and DJ scratch, past-life lovers and NASA transmissions, witchcraft and the dancefloor. Heavy vocal processing, Prophet synths, and lyrics that blur devotion and hex make Concussa the séance you'd actually want to attend.
