About this Event

Come by to Bici for a night of celebrating women and cycling! We'll start off with a social hour to mingle and talk with fellow women. Then we'll roll into dynamic panels including Cycling Through Cycles with Dr. Cat Multari and Kristen Anderson, Strength and Cycling with Paul Moffat, and the Inspired to Ride Panel with Charlotte Nugent, Regina Chan, Lauren Fridman, and Lilluy Ujfalusi. Dr. Catherine Multari, ND, MSCP, FABNO

Catherine is a naturopathic physician focusing on cancer care and menopause. Catherine enjoys running and cycling with friends throughout Vancouver when not seeing patients. Cycling allows one to see beautiful parts of the city, connect meaningfully with others, and physically and mentally challenge one's body.

Kristen Anderson, MA, MBSR

Kristen is a multi-sport athlete who relies on her mind and heart to help her find strength beyond the limits of her physical body. She is a Boston Marathoner and RBC Granfondo Ambassador. Kristen loves to blend playfulness with process as she chases her goals. Professionally, sheโ€™s a Performance Coach and Sex Educator, empowering people to perform physically, emotionally and relationally at their best. Sheโ€™s also an energetic mom of three boys.

Lauren Fridman

Lauren is a Biomechanist for a wearable tech company by profession and a track/road cyclist by passion. She entered the cycling world 2.5 years ago through the RBC Training Ground program and went from zero cycling experience to top 10 finishes at Track Nationals and is a cat. 2 racer on the road. As a huge nerd, Lauren loves learning about optimization and has found cycling to be an exciting collision of her sports science and athletic worlds.

Regina Chan, RBC GranFondo Ambassador

Regina is a creative and detail-driven event planner who enjoys bringing people together through meaningful experiences. As an avid cyclist and Events Director for The Last Drop cycling club, she thrives on building community and creating spaces where riders can connect and grow. Cycling is where Regina feels she can freely express herself โ€“ through movement, friends, coffee, and pastries. She loves exploring new places on her bike and embracing the type 2 fun of a challenging ride.

Lilly Ujfalusi Lilly started racing bikes 12 years ago and has enjoyed the sport in many capacities ever since. Now Lilly is enjoying mountain biking, adventure riding, coaching, and racing locally for UBC cycling after returning from her racing career. She is in her fourth year of studying kinesiology at UBC and is passionate about riding, adventuring, and womenโ€™s health and well-being.

Charlotte Nugent explores the intersection of sport, design, and culture. She brings her expertise as a sportswear trend and design consultant and a technical apparel design and fashion instructor at the Wilson School of Design. A former professional track runner and current competitive age-group triathlete, she thrives on the energy and its ability to shape communities. She is a mixed-methods researcher passionate about problem-solving and experimenting through apparel design, innovation, and human-centred insights.

Paul Moffat Paul has a BSc in Sports and Exercise and is a PT and Cycling Coach with over 15 years of experience in fitness and endurance sports. His passion began at age 12, his first Fondo at 13, but freestyle BMX in his teenage years before road cycling in his 30s. He rekindled his love for the sport through coaching spin, which led to outdoor training and competitive racing. Through Velosophy, he has been coaching cyclists of all levels since 2016. His popular QOM program supports female cyclists with road and new off-season strength training. A proud father to a young daughter, Paul shares his love of two wheels with her, inspiring the next generation of riders.
