WE WELCOME YOU TO JOIN US! Please come dance! A warm-up contact improv class will precede an ecstatic dance set. Feel free to come for either or both!The class:
Basic foundational improv principles will be shared in a class format, exploring the principles somatically. All levels of experience are welcome including very beginners. Basics will be covered at the beginning of the class- including physical and emotional safety. Contact Improv can involve contact with another, with the floor or with self. No need to dance with someone if you don't want to!
Ecstatic Dance set:
We will have a brief opening circle, then flow into an incredible music journey curated by DJ Dusty Walker! We invite you to dive deeply into your own dance experience. You also may enjoy dancing with others...

About DJ Dusty Walker: My sets travel the spectrum of emotions. Expect sounds of gentle awakening ambient stillness morphing into slow, measured, ancient rhythms. This sets the stage for deep foundational bass frequencies that in turn launch a round of folk musical uprisings. The heart of the set is two rounds of electrifying global big beats that sandwich a serene middle valley of slower, more interconnected, rhythms. After the final peak all that remains is a long gradual descent filled with joyful, often nostalgic, anthems that take their time until the music finally ends in a place of nourishing stillness.
Bio: DJ Dusty Walker has been DJ'ing for over 20 years but has found true DJ love with creating ecstatic musical journeys for dancing people.
