About the Speaker:
Jeff Whitworth is a Senior Technology Strategist on the US Education team at Microsoft, where he leads AI strategy initiatives for top higher education institutions and academic medical centers. With a strong background in computer science and a wealth of experience in both academia and industry, Jeff has worked closely with universities on their AI strategies and technology infrastructure. His past roles include Chief Technology Officer at a university and President of the North Carolina Technology and Data Institute. Jeff’s innovative approach to technology has earned him numerous accolades, including the MCNC Empower Award and the E&I Cloud Leadership Award.
