About this Event
Inside Voices is an evening-length dance performance highlighting the relationships and tensions between parenthood and art-making. This work gives a voice to the full spectrum of experiences inside of caregiving, making room for the absurdity, the awe, the mundane, the loneliness and the unimaginable joy. Knowing that our world often tells us to only share one side of the story, this work champions the multiplicity of the experience and leans into both the universal and deeply personal through the entanglement of the dancer's stories on stage. This collaborative work features five Ohio based dance artists: Megan Davis Bushway, Kelly Hurlburt, Chloe Napoletano, Sarah Ramey and Rowan Salem.
