The MUSE, 1 Madeline Lane, Rosendale, NY
Alternative parking at Rosendale Rec Center, three minutes' walk away.
Audience members are invited to tell stories from their lives, then watch as performers create theatre on the spot, complete with improvisational music.
Darkness is here. It's time to shelter inside, keep each other company, and tell our stories. Please join us for the last in our fall series at The Muse!
All welcome. Suggested donation $15.
Your donation supports HRPT and The Muse, a hive for the arts. Thank you!
* Want a full-immersion Playback Theatre experience? Go to our friends at Community Playback Theatre's show, October 6, 3pm at Boughton Place, 150 Kisor Road, Highland, and then come and see us in Rosendale at 7pm!
Hudson River Playback Theatre is a New Paltz-based nonprofit ensemble founded in 1990 by Playback pioneer Jo Salas. HRPT has performed by invitation in New York City, Boston, Washington DC, Montreal, London, and Frankfurt. Locally, we have performed in theatres, conferences, migrant labor camps, and much more. Our longterm projects have included school performances addressing bullying, and “Immigrant Stories,” a series of over 100 performances for the Mid Hudson Valley’s immigrant community, funded by the Dyson Foundation.
