About this Event
Step into an unknown piece of history in Amsterdam — join us for a unique and inspiring visit to the last home of the Italian pedagogue Maria Montessori.
As part of the Case della Memoria initiative, we invite you to experience a guided, carefully curated tour that brings her legacy vividly to life.
During your visit, you will explore the study where Montessori spent her final years, gaining insight into its history and atmosphere. Our guides will take you on a journey through her remarkable life and pioneering work in education, while also offering a rare glimpse into the rich legacy preserved on site. These collections reveal not only her ideas, but the enduring impact they continue to have around the world.
You will also learn about the ongoing work of the organisation she founded, and how her vision continues to shape education today.
To ensure an intimate and engaging experience, we offer three afternoon time slots:
13:00 to 14:00 — Dutch tour
14:30 to 15:30 — Italian tour
16:00 to 17:00 — English tour
